Invoices

A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking your Peace Love Picnic. That deposit applies to your total due. Peace Love Picnic will invoice client for the remaining balance before scheduled event date.
The payment in full is due 72 hours before scheduled event date unless otherwise discussed.
If payment in FULL has not been received within 24 hours of scheduled date, Peace Love Picnic reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event.

Payment methods

Payment will be made to Peace Love Picnic via cash, check, an approved payment card, or by any other payment method determined by the Business.

LIABILITY & COVID-19

Peace Love Picnic accepts no liability of Covid-19 exposure.
Client shall understand the risk associated with being amongst others at an intimate picnic setting. Client assumes all responsibility associated if a person in attendance claims to have contracted Covid-19 during the event. This includes all costs, medical bills, attorney fees, claims costs, or litigation expenses. Peace Love Picnic and client both agree to follow any and all safety policies and precautions associated with Covid-19.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
It is the responsibility of the client to check alcohol laws of any venue or location being used for a Peace Love Picnic.
Most beaches and public parks prohibit alcohol consumption. Peace Love Picnic takes no responsibility for any alcohol-related penalties that have occurred during the event.

PERMITS
Specific permits may be required for chosen locations, which will be invoiced to the client to pay.
 

Modifications

The Client and the Business must agree to any changes to this contract in writing.

DAMAGE & LOSS

DAMAGE OR LOSS OF PICNIC RENTAL ITEMS
All rental items supplied to the Client are property of Peace Love Picnic. Damage to or loss of rental items at the time of picnic, as detailed ,in the invoice, will be reported by the client to Peace Love Picnic immediately.
-If the rental items are lost, the client must pay Peace Love Picnic the current replacement cost of the rental item(s).
-If the rental items are damaged due to negligence, the client will pay for all repairs.
-Client is not responsible for replacing items caused by unexpected natural disasters such as weather conditions.
SECURITY
The client is responsible for the supervision and security of all picnic rental items until such time that it is collected by a Peace Love Picnic staff member.
-In the event that rental items are stolen from the venue or location;
The Client shall notify in writing stating the full circumstances of the theft and the time the police were notified.
The Client agrees to cover the costs to replace items stolen under their supervision.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Peace Love Picnic requires a 72 hour advanced cancellation notice. If client fails to provide such notice, Peace Love Picnic shall NOT refund initial deposit.
POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS
-In the case of forecasted rain, the client has up to 72 hours prior to the picnic to decide if they would like to make alternate arrangements at an indoor location or reschedule.

Please Note: Each picnic will be unique in design and execution. Picnics may or may not include all items pictured or listed on our website. If there are any specific elements or requests, the client shall notify Peace Love Picnic during the planning process.
